A week-long strike by bus drivers in a pay dispute in Norwich has been put on hold despite the lack of an agreement.
The stoppage was expected to start on 15 September, in Norfolk and Suffolk. No official reason has been given for why the strike has been called off.
Managers at firm First Eastern have withdrawn an agreement with Transport and General Workers' Union (TGWU) which was reached on Monday.
Further talks are expected to take place on Wednesday, managers have said.
Bus drivers want a rise of 3% while managers have offered 2.25%.
About 650 First bus staff voted to take the industrial action out of a total workforce of about 710.
