The fire broke out at the arcade in The Quay at Wells-next-the-Sea

An investigation has begun into what caused a fire that destroyed an amusement arcade at a seaside resort.
The fire broke out on Monday afternoon on The Quay at Wells-next-the-Sea, north Norfolk.
The building was evacuated, along with premises nearby because of fears the fire could spread. At its height 80 firefighters tackled the blaze.
Divisional officer Edward Zipfell said it could take "a long time" to establish the cause of the fire.
Strong winds made the job more difficult for crews, who spent nearly three hours bringing it under control.
Dogs rescued
Mr Zipfell said those who were in the building when it caught fire had a lucky escape.
"An off-duty officer spotted the fire at the back of the building and called us" he said.
"We evacuated the building and rescued two dogs from a first floor flat just before the roof collapsed."
