Traders in Norwich will get the chance to view a prototype market stall as part of a £4.6m refurbishment.
The new stalls would replace the current, more traditional design
It is intended to replace those in the historic city market but traders and the public will have their chance to have a say on the new design.
Designers say 45 will eventually be placed in the market.
A number of designs originally put forward for the site were rejected for not being in keeping with the character of the market.
Work on the project will take start in January next year and is expected to be completed in November.
