Teacher put on sex offenders register
Norwich Crown Court
Christopher Eyre was found guilty at Norwich Crown Court
A 29-year-old teacher has been found guilty of exposing himself to a young girl.

Christopher Eyre, formerly of Willow Lane, Downham Market, Norfolk, was found guilty of one offence of abusing his position of trust by engaging in sexual activity with a nine-year-old girl.

Judge Philip Curl directed the jury to return a not guilty verdict on a second offence of engaging in sexual activity with a young girl.

Norwich Crown Court was told that Eyre, now of Holborn View, Codnor, Derbyshire, had exposed himself to a nine-year-old girl, but he denied ever exposing himself.

The judge adjourned sentence until 3 October so that a pre-sentence and a psychiatric report can be obtained.

He also made an interim order under which Eyre be put on the sex offenders register.
