Police driver hurt in crash

The driver of a police car has been seriously hurt after an accident on the A47.

The police car left the road at Scarning at 0200 BST on Friday.

The driver was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.

Diversions have been put in place at the scene of the accident.

Police officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
