Man killed in forklift accident in Ellesmere Port

A 25-year-old worker has been killed in an accident involving a forklift truck at a warehouse in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

It happened at glass recycling company Recresco Ltd's site in North Road at 1050 GMT.

A Cheshire Police spokesman confirmed the man's family has been informed and an investigation was under way.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is also investigating. No-one from the firm was available to comment.

Recresco has four sites across England.
