A 31-year-old man who was stabbed to death at a house in Merseyside has been named, police said.

Graham Wootton, from Haydock, was found by police after they were called to reports of an assault at the property on St Augustine's Way in Netherton.

Four people remain in custody on suspicion of murder.

A 22-year-old woman and two men - aged 34 and 48 - were arrested on Saturday. A 38-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday.

The preliminary results of a post-mortem examination suggested the victim died from a single stab wound.
