Man stabbed in home by intruders

A 56-year-old man was stabbed in the arm by masked raiders who broke into his home in Liverpool.

Three men are believed to have forced their way into the property in Exford Road, West Derby, in the early hours.

The man inside the house was assaulted, suffering a deep cut to his arm and a graze to his head. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are searching for men, who were all dressed in dark clothing, and have appealed for witnesses.
