Stabbed man, 46, dies after fight

A man has died and a 14-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after both being stabbed in Wirral.

Merseyside Police said the pair were injured during a "domestic-related" fight on Speedwell Road, Claughton.

The 46-year-old man and boy were taken to hospital with stab wounds, but the man died of his injuries. The teenager remains in a critical condition.

Officers are still hunting for another man believed to be involved in the incident on Saturday afternoon.

The area around Upton Road has been cordoned off and there remains a heavy police presence.

Officers are also conducting house-to-house inquiries and are appealing for witnesses to the fight to contact them.
