Detectives have named a three-year-old girl who is critically ill in hospital after an arson attack on the house she shared with her family in Liverpool.
Francesa Bimpson who was rescued by fire crews from a first-floor bedroom at the house on Norwood Grove, Everton, suffered extensive burns, police said.
The toddler's two sisters, brother and parents were also taken to hospital.
Two men, aged 45 and 43, have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
The 45-year-old arrested has been bailed pending further police inquiries.
Legs broken
The other children, 17-month-old Anne-Marie; Christina, aged eight; and their 14 year-old brother Keiron were taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital where they are being treated for smoke inhalation.
Their parents Kieron Bimpson Snr and Eleanor Skelhorne, both 36 years old, were taken to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Miss Skelhorne suffered minor injuries and smoke inhalation. Mr Bimpson broke both his legs jumping from a first-floor window.
Both Mr Bimpson and Francesca are still being treated for their injuries.
Fire investigators said the blaze was suspicious and have started a joint investigation with police.
Forensic examinations are being carried out at the house.
