The council wants to improve the area between the town and the prom

Plans to improve parts of West Kirby are going on public display.
Plans for the Wirral resort include improving Dee Lane, which is one of the main links from the centre of the town and the waterfront.
Wirral Council said the improvements would also focus on The Crescent and South Parade Promenade.
If plans are approved, pavements would be re-surfaced, better lighting and seating would be added and the entrance to Sandlea Park would be improved.
The council also has plans to run a pilot scheme to pedestrianise The Crescent.
A trial period will be agreed with traders in which all traffic will be prohibited except for deliveries.
Plans for more car parking along South Parade will also be floated.
The details of the plans will be on show in the display area opposite the One Stop Shop at The Concourse from 1 to 13 September.
