Police hunting field sex attacker

A teenage girl was subjected to a serious sexual assault after being dragged into a field in Chester.

The 17-year-old was walking along the grass verge of Saughall Road in Blacon on Tuesday night when she was attacked.

Police said her attacker was a white man in his 40s, slim, about 6ft tall with short, dark hair and a moustache with grey flecks.

He was dressed in an Adidas style tracksuit, with the trousers tucked into his socks.

Anyone who witnessed the attack, which happened opposite a Dairy Crest dairy, is asked to contact Cheshire Police.
