Concern is growing for the welfare of a 54-year-old man who has been missing from a Wirral hospital for a week.

Robert Stephen Fahey was last seen at Clatterbridge Hospital, where he is a voluntary patient, on 14 May.

Mr Fahey, who is white, thin, 5ft 6in (1.67m) tall, with grey hair, is thought to have family in Cheshire, Manchester and Merseyside.

As he can become aggressive or depressed without medication, police are urging people not to approach him.

Instead, they should get in touch with police if they spot him.
