Rhys link youth released on bail

A 17-year-old arrested in Liverpool on firearms offences has been released on police bail.

The teenager had previously been questioned as part of the Rhys Jones murder investigation.

He was arrested during raids in the Croxteth area of the city on Monday along with five other people.

Rhys Jones was shot dead as he walked home from football practice in August. Eighteen people have so far been arrested but no charges brought.
