Man charged over father's murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a father-of-three, who was killed more than a year ago.

Eusop Milne, 34, of Kingsway, Prescot, will appear before Liverpool Magistrates' Court accused of murdering Daniel Duffy on 20 November 2006.

Mr Duffy, 46, was shot dead as he walked home along Sullington Drive, Netherley after a night out.

Mr Milne has also been charged with conspiracy to murder another man in Coventry on 11 October 2006.

Three other men have also been charged with conspiracy to murder in relation to the Coventry incident: Peter Almond, 23, of Rose Avenue, Bootle; Lee Almond, 26, of Whitewood Park, Litherland and Ian Dutton, 42, of Gale Road, Litherland.

All four will appear in court in Liverpool on Thursday.
