George's diet consisted of boiled ham and condensed milk

A cat almost 70% heavier than he should be has lumbered into the race to be a pet charity's slimmer of the year.
George, who lives in Liverpool, was chosen from a cats home by the Moulton family and they decided to spoil him with tasty treats.
But now the 8kg ginger tom is the cat who got too much cream after a diet of boiled ham, roast chicken, chips, full-fat cream and condensed milk.
He is now on a 100-day diet to become a pet charity's slimmer of the year.
The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) is trying to raise awareness among owners who are in danger of killing their pets with kindness.
'Top condition'
"The rise in pet obesity is of great concern," said PDSA senior veterinary surgeon Elaine Pendlebury.
"PDSA vets estimate that there has been a 50% rise in cat obesity over the past 20 years. The aim of PDSA Pet Fit Club is to highlight ways in which owners can improve their pets' health.
"Safe weight-loss is possible for pets - it just takes a little time, dedication and patience."
George is already benefiting from his new diet and has lost 1kg.
Diet deadline
Mrs Moulton said the difference is noticeable: "His coat has gone lovely - he's in top condition but now he's on skimmed milk."
But George faces some stiff competition if he is to take the title.
Other entrants include Lennon, a three-year-old Bichon Frise from Plymouth, who is 60% over weight.
There is also Scooby, a mongrel from Gillingham - and a massive 81% overweight at 16.3 kg after a diet of chicken curry, Thai food, fish and chips, pizzas, Sunday lunches, ice cream, cakes and sweets.
There are still 60 days to go until the end of the diet when the winner will be announced.
