Family's appeal for missing son
Steve Cook
Steve Cook was on holiday with friends when he disappeared
The family of a Cheshire student who went missing while on holiday in Crete two years ago say they have not given up hope of finding their son.

Steven Cook, 20, from Sandbach, was last seen by his friends on the first night of his holiday in the resort of Malia on 31 August 2005.

He left his friends early that night to return to his hotel, but has not been seen since.

There has been very little evidence or progress in the search for Mr Cook.

It was his first holiday without his family.

They have tirelessly searched for their son.

His family remain in contact with police in Cheshire and Crete and remain hopeful he will one day return home.
