The head of events for Liverpool's Capital of Culture has resigned.
It comes the day after the leader of the opposition Labour group on the city council, Joe Anderson, quit his place on the Capital of Culture Board.
Lee Forde is a former tour manager who first became involved with Liverpool City Council in 1999.
The Culture Company has issued a statement confirming his resignation, saying it would like to thank him and wish him well for the future.
The Liverpool Culture Company is the organisation set up by Liverpool City Council to deliver the culture programme up to and beyond 2008.
It is not yet clear why he has resigned, but the Culture Company is seeking an immediate replacement.
Liverpool's Capital of Culture Artistic Director Robyn Archer also resigned her post only months after taking up the role full time just under a year ago.
