Body in alleyway probe continues
Investigations are continuing into the murder of a man whose body was found in an alleyway.

A builder made the discovery close to Argyle Street South in Birkenhead, Wirral, at about 1000 BST on 16 April.

The victim has not yet been identified and house to house inquiries are under way close to the scene.

Police originally said cause of death was unknown, but are now treating it as murder. Results of a post-mortem examination are expected later.
