Van full of cats and dogs stolen
An animal rescue ambulance full of cats and dogs has been stolen in Merseyside.

The white Citroen Berlingo van, registration MD51 NPY, was parked in Boode Croft in Stockbridge Village when it was stolen on Friday night.

The vehicle is owned by the Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre, based in Ince Blundell, Liverpool.

Volunteer Sue Brown said the animals were likely to be frightened and urged anyone with information to contact Merseyside Police.
