Five arrested over shooting death
Lucy Hargreaves
Police do not know why Lucy Hargreaves was targeted
Five people have been arrested on charges relating to the shooting of a woman at a house in Liverpool before it was set on fire.

Lucy Hargreaves, 22, a mother of three, was shot at her home in Lambourne Grove, Walton, before petrol was used to set the house alight in August 2005.

Four men and a teenager are being questioned by Merseyside Police.

Of those, two men aged 21 and 20, who are from Huyton-with-Roby, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old male, all from Norris Green, have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle.

This relates to a silver Lexus estate which was found burned out on nearby Utting Avenue.

Police still want to trace 26-year-old Kevin Parle in connection with Mr Hargreaves' death.

He is white, 6ft 5in tall with a broad build. He has blue eyes and ginger hair and a one-inch scar on the side of his head.

He also goes by the name of Joseph Kenneth Parle, and police believe he may be living abroad.

Ms Hargreaves' partner and their two-year-old daughter managed to escape from the fire on 3 August 2005.

Police are urging anyone with information about the attack to contact them or Crimestoppers.
