Two men questioned over the death of a teenager who was shot in the head outside a Merseyside prison have been released by police.
Liam Smith, 19, of Walton, was shot outside HMP Altcourse in Higher Lane, Fazakerley, on Wednesday, as he left after visiting a friend.
An 18-year-old from Croxteth and a 27-year-old from Speke were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
They were both questioned and later released on bail.
Mr Smith is said to have collapsed in the street as people ran to his aid.
