Five people who were arrested after a suspected stolen car crashed while being followed by police in Liverpool have been released on bail.
Officers had begun following the Peugeot in Kirkdale before it collided with bollards in Boundary Street on Wednesday afternoon.
The five people inside the car were questioned on suspicion of taking the vehicle without consent.
Three were taken to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
A police spokeswoman said the five had been released pending further inquiries.
