The mother of a sailor who was murdered in a Liverpool bar has made an emotional appeal to help police catch his killers.
Anthony Cavanagh, 22, was on shore leave from HMS Cardiff on 24 September 2005 when he was attacked in the Walkabout bar on Fleet Street.
He died 11 days later in Walton Neurological Centre.
His mother Pat said people must come forward if they have information about what happened in the bar that night.
Police said three men confronted Mr Cavanagh, one of whom threw a drink at him before another punched him.
Mrs Cavanagh said: "He'd been to the toilet and he was ready to leave, and there was a collision.
"He said he was sorry and the next minute there was a punch and he hit the floor.
"People were just stepping over him. I'm asking these people to please, please come forward."
