Constrictor stolen from pet shop

The female Boa Constrictor weighs 15lbs.

A Boa Constrictor snake measuring 8ft (3.75m) has been stolen from a pet shop in Merseyside.

Thieves stole the snake from the Arts Aquatics and Animals shop on Field Lane in Fazakerley, Liverpool, on Wednesday.

The breeding female weighs more than 15lbs (6.804kg) and is brown and orange in colour.

Its owners have warned that the female snake could become aggressive and agitated because she has been disturbed from her home environment.
