A man arrested on suspicion of murdering teenager Anthony Walker has been released on bail.

A-level student Anthony was found with an axe in his head in McGoldrick Park, Huyton, Merseyside, in July.

Michael Barton, 17, and Paul Taylor, 20 - both of Huyton - have been charged with murder and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

A 23-year-old man from Formby was arrested on Monday but released pending further inquiries.

Six other men arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on police bail.
