A thief managed to get himself caught on camera - as he stole CCTV equipment that was taking his picture.
The man did not seem to know the camera had already recorded his image as he worked to take it down.
He left the ready-made mugshot while stealing the camera from an electronics shop in Formby, Merseyside, last month.
Merseyside Police are urging the man to hand himself in. They have also asked anyone who knows his identity to get in touch, or contact Crimestoppers.
