A woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a six-year-old
girl, her mother and brother.
Makada Weaver was shot at her Liverpool home
Makada Weaver was hit by a bullet when a gunman entered her Liverpool home in November last year.
Merseyside Police confirmed a 23-year-old woman was being questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life.
Makada's mother, Valerie Weaver, 35, and brother Adrian, 19, were also shot in the incident.
The three were taken to hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening injuries.
The family dog, a bull mastiff called Naz, was shot dead by the intruder.
At the time, police said the shooting was linked to a gangland feud but stressed that the Weavers were innocent victims.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said: "We have arrested a 23-year-old
woman from the Anfield area of Liverpool on suspicion of conspiracy to supply
firearms with intent to endanger life."
Police have continued to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
