A 61-year-old man from Greater Manchester has been accused of several sexual offences against children. Derek Atkinson, of Silverdale Road, Hindley, is charged with two counts of engaging in a sexual act in the presence of a child under 13. He also faces five charges of engaging in a sexual act in the presence of a child under 16. The charges relate to offences over the past eight years. He is due at Wigan Magistrates' Court on 1 April.
