New charge in Stockport river murder probe

A fifth person has been charged after a man's body was found in the River Tame in Greater Manchester, police said.

The body of Martin Hyde, 22, was found in the water near Reddish Vale Country Park on 1 December. Tests revealed he died from multiple injuries.

An 18-year-old man, of Hollywood Towers, Stockport, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court later.

Two men and a woman have already been charged with murder.
