Mother charged over baby's death

Alex Sutherland
Tests have not established how Alexander Sutherland died

A mother has been charged with neglecting her 13-month-old son, whose body was found at a house in Greater Manchester earlier this week.

Officers found Alexander Sutherland when they responded to a call at an address in Porlock Road, Baguley.

Tracey Sutherland, 39, of the same address, is due to appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court charged with child neglect.

Police said a post-mortem examination had not established how the boy died.
