Charge over paramedic car attack

Vandalised vehicle
The car had grit thrown at it and its tyres slashed

A man has been charged with criminal damage after a paramedic's car was vandalised in Greater Manchester.

Crews had been called to St Matthew's Walk in Halliwell on Wednesday to treat a two-year-old girl with burns.

While at the scene the tyres on the rapid response vehicle were slashed and the windscreen spat on.

Christian Tyldesley, 21, of Weston Street, Bolton, charged with criminal damage, is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court on 19 November.
