Car repairs

"We are following a number of positive lines of inquiry but I need the public's help to identify the driver.

Part of the road was closed for investigations into the crash

"The car would have suffered significant damage so if you know who was driving, have seen an Astra with damage or been approached with a view to repairing a damaged car please get in touch.

"We have had to break this tragic news to Darrell's mother so I would urge people to think about how they would feel in that situation and do the right thing and come forward."

Mr Chadwick was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 0210 GMT.
