Stabbing victim named by police

A 29-year-old man who died three days after being stabbed in Greater Manchester has been named by police.

James Cromwell, of Kelverlow Street, Oldham, was found with a stab wound at an address in Incline Road in Hollinwood on 17 October.

He was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery but later died.

Michael Hornung, 26, of Barmouth Walk in Oldham, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and remanded in custody until January 2010.
