Investigation after two men shot

One of the injured men was found at hospital in Lancashire

Two men are in hospital after they were shot in Greater Manchester.

Police were called to Yorkshire Street, Rochdale, in the early hours after reports one man had been shot.

Officers found the victim with gunshot wounds to his leg. He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A second man with gunshot wounds to his hand was later discovered at a hospital in Lancashire. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Part of Yorkshire Street has been closed.
