Charge over dog walker sex attack

A man has been charged by detectives investigating the sexual assault of a woman walking her dog in a park in Greater Manchester.

The 58-year-old was in Bramhall Park, Stockport, when she was grabbed from behind and assaulted on 30 June.

Police arrested a 29-year-old man in the Surrey area on Tuesday and he has now been charged with sexual assault.

The man, from Cheadle, Stockport, is due to appear before Stockport Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
