A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was shot outside a pub in Manchester.

The 17-year-old is accused of killing Giuseppe Gregory, from Ardwick, who was shot in the head outside the Robin Hood in Stretford on 10 May.

He has also been charged with four offences of attempted murder and will appear before Manchester City Magistrates on Saturday, police said.

Giuseppe was the first person shot dead in Greater Manchester for over a year.

Njabulo Ndlovu, 18, of Croyden Drive, Newton Heath, has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to the shooting and will appear at the same court hearing.
