Abduction charges against two men

Two men have appeared in court charged with sexual offences and abduction after police stopped a sports car with two young girls aged 13 and 15 inside.

The Subaru Impreza was stopped on Yorkshire Street, Oldham shortly after midnight on Thursday.

The men aged 21 and 23 appeared before Oldham magistrates on Friday.

The 23-year-old was charged with abduction. The 21-year-old was charged with inciting a child to commit a sexual offence and abduction.

They have both been released on bail until their next hearing on 23 July.
