Police release dramatic video footage of the shooting
The mother of a boy who was gunned down in a Manchester bookmakers has made an appeal to catch his killer on the first anniversary of his death.
Louis Brathwaite, 16, was shot in William Hill on Mauldeth Road West in Withington last January. He died 12 days later, on 10 February 2008.
His mother, Sophia Zollner, called for information "to help the people who so cruelly ended my son's life".
A post-mortem examination showed he died from a gunshot to the abdomen.
Police have, for the first time, released footage of the shooting.
CCTV from the betting shop shows the moment shots were fired by a gunman.
It's us, the family... that are left with only memories

He is described as black, between 5ft 7in and 6ft tall, and dressed in dark clothing with his face covered.
He fired five shots before fleeing with a second man.
Speaking for the first time since her son's killing, Ms Zollner added: "I often wonder if the people responsible for my son's death have ever thought just how they would feel if it was one of their own children who had been murdered in this way.
"I would like to ask the people who know who killed my son just how your parents would feel if you were killed and nobody came forward. It's us, the family... that are left with only memories."
Meanwhile, Greater Manchester Police is offering a £20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Louis's killer.
According to detectives the gunman and his accomplice escaped in a black VW Golf, with a registration similar to WG07 YXY.
Despite extensive investigations police have yet to make any arrests over the teenager's death.
Det Chf Insp Howard Millington said: "It is now exactly a year since Louis died and someone in the community knows exactly what happened and who is responsible."
