Police name fatal stabbing victim

Police have named a man who died when he and two other men were stabbed at a house in Greater Manchester.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Bolton Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan, in the early hours of Sunday.

Parwar Mulad, 23, of Silverdale Road, Bolton, died from a single stab wound to his chest.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and wounding intent and is in police custody.

The two other men were treated in hospital and have since been discharged.
