Inmates charged with jail killing

Three men have been charged with killing a fellow inmate at a jail in Greater Manchester.

Ryan Beaver, 35, from Stockport, was serving a custodial sentence when he was seriously assaulted at HMP Forest Bank in Salford on 19 September.

He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries but later died.

Three men, aged 24, 28 and 31, have been charged with manslaughter and will appear before Salford Magistrates' Court on 31 October.
