Bus stuck in building after crash

A single-decker bus crashed into the wall of a Territorial Army Centre in Greater Manchester after colliding with another vehicle.

The collision happened at the junction of Upper Chorlton Road and Kings Road in Old Trafford on Monday afternoon.

Although there were a number of passengers on board the bus no-one was seriously injured in the crash.

An inspection will assess how the vehicle can be removed from the building, police said.

At about 1540 BST, the bus was nearing the junction of Upper Chorlton Road and Kings Road when it collided with a VW Polo.

It then went through a perimeter fence and collided with the outer wall of the nearby TA Centre.

The car driver suffered a minor shoulder injury, but no-one from the centre was injured.
