Ambulance crew threat man charged

A man has been charged after two paramedics were threatened and trapped in a house in Oldham.

Police were called to an address on Vale Drive, Coldhurst, early on Tuesday after reports that the pair were being threatened at knifepoint.

They had locked themselves in a room after responding to a 999 call.

A 44-year-old man was charged with threats to kill and false imprisonment and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 9 October.
