The fire started in the early hours of the morning

A huge fire has broken out at an industrial laundry and storage warehouse in Manchester.

About 40 firefighters are at the scene of the blaze at the Linen Warehouse on Vaughan Industrial Estate, West Gorton.

Fire crews were called out to tackle the blaze on Vaughan Street shortly after 0330 BST.

A number of roads have been closed around the area and are set to remain shut until at least mid-morning. The cause of the fire is not known.

Pottery Lane, Gorton Road, Tuley Street, Vaughan Street and Bennett Street have all been affected by the road closures.
