Teenager in court over stab death

A teenager has appeared in court charged with murdering a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed four times on a street in Salford.

Part-time brewery worker Courtney Eaton, of Winton, Salford, was attacked on New Lane, Winton, on Friday night.

Stuart Fagan, 18, of James Henry Avenue in Ordsall, appeared before Salford magistrates, where he also faced a charge of possessing a flick-knife.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 24 November.
