Detectives have charged another teenager in connection with the death of a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed after attending a party in Manchester.

Conor Black was stabbed in the shoulder in Moston Lane, Harpurhey, on 16 August. He died on the way to hospital.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, has been charged with perverting the course of justice and will appear at Manchester Youth Court on Tuesday.

Another boy, also 16, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The second youth was held on suspicion of conspiracy to cause wounding.

A third 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, is charged with Conor's murder.

He denied the charge at Manchester Magistrates' Court last month.
