Murder inquiry after body found

Police have started a murder inquiry after the body of a 52-year-old woman was found dead in Greater Manchester.

Emergency services were called to a house in Bradley Green Road, Hyde, on Wednesday night where police found the victim's body.

A spokesman said the investigation was in the "very early stages".

A 55-year-old man from Hyde has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned. Tests are expected to reveal how the woman died.
