Firefighters tackle timber blaze

More than 500 tonnes of timber is on fire at a recycling centre in Greater Manchester.

About 20 firefighters are tackling the blaze at Hooley Bridge in the Heywood area, which started in the early hours of Wednesday.

Several neighbouring roads around the scene have been closed off to traffic while the blaze is brought under control by fire crews.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
