Police find man shot in the leg

A man has been shot in the leg in an incident at a house in Bury.

Police were called to Brookhouse Mill Lane, in Greenmount, in the early hours following reports that gunshots had been heard.

The 31-year-old man, who has not been named, had suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The end of Brookhouse Mill Lane was temporarily cordoned off following the incident at about 0230 BST.
