More than 30 firefighters are tackling a major blaze at an industrial estate in Greater Manchester.

Eight appliances were called out to the Bradley Fold Industrial Estate on the Bolton/Bury border this morning.

A large amount of waste plastic had caught fire and it is thought the fire also spread to 10 cars on a nearby car park.

The fire is now thought to have been brought under control. Investigators will look into how the fire started.

Radcliffe Road and Bradley Fold road are closed and are causing delays for drivers in the area.

The fire service are advising local residents to keep doors and windows closed to protect against breathing in smoke and fumes from the fire.
